'STRALIA REVENGE OF THE EMUS
The endangered world of Stralia welcomes you to slaughter some robotic emu scum in this fun, colourful and PETA-adored (probably) first-person shooter experience . Advance through expansive levels, solve platforming puzzles, collect power-ups and decimate wave after wave of emu’s along the way with a selection of cool weaponry in a fight for survival against a dastardly set of Australian avifauna!

Stralia was my first team project I worked on, I worked mostly on designing the world map and its metroidvania mechanics, creating 2 of the 3 levels of the game, using Unreal and its terrain tool. I also worked on designing Emu enemy variations and the weapons.

I got a lot of Unreal experience from the project and am extremely confident with working in project, creating scenes and using terrain tool to make levels. I also got experience working with blueprints.
​
The game didn't end up being as complete as we wanted but I learnt a valuable lesson in scope and designing modularly so you can get the core of the game made and add on extensions if you have the time. I also got some experience in conflict resolution and managing different pathways and discovered I have a passion for being a mediator and the driving force of conflict resolution.
